About us

Established in October 2012 and registered as a limited company in May 2014, the Iyengar Yoga Association of Hong Kong (IYAHK) is a non-profit making organization committed to communicating the art, science and philosophy of yoga as taught by Yogacharya BKS Iyengar.

IYAHK brings together teachers and students of Iyengar Yoga^® in Hong Kong, and connects our local community of practitioners to the broader international community of Iyengar Yoga^®.

Everyone is welcome to join IYAHK - from beginner students through to experienced practitioners. We welcome your participation and involvement in the Association.

Associate Member/準教師會員 - $800.00 (HKD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Associate Member :
An apprenticing Iyengar Yoga teacher trainee in HK who studies with a recognized teacher mentor and intends to become certified to teach Iyenga Yoga; or
A Teacher Member who is retired; or
May have been previously a Teacher Member who has taken a long leave of absence and wishes to maintain valid certification while on leave for more than one year. To sit for assessment and certification, a mentee must be a member of IYAHK.

Student Member/學生會員 - $600.00 (HKD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments

Teacher Member/教師會員 - $1,200.00 (HKD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments To hold a valid certificate, a CIYT must pay the Certification Mark fee and be a member of IYAHK for the current year.
